Old School Basketball Coach


I have been a basketball player and coach for 48 years………. and counting

I started playing the game of basketball at Toledo Central Catholic High School in September 1968 – 1971, I then went on to play at Defiance College Ohio from 1972 to 1976 where we achieved NAIA District 22 Champions for 2 years in a row (1973/74 & 1974/75) i then made it the NAIA Finals in Kansus City where we made it to the final 16. During the seasons of 1973/74 & 1974/75 i was nominated as an NAIA All American Team Member.

I started coaching basketball at Defiance College under NIA Hall Of Fame Coach Marvin Hohenberger in 1988. I then returned to England in 1996 where i was employed as the Head Coach of the national deaf team, various tournaments and competitions were attended including the World Championships in Copenhagen.

I have also been employed by the NBA to coach on the UK Mad Skillz tour from 1998 – 2000

Most recently i have been employed as a qualified teacher at East Durham Academy and Danum Academy in Doncaster, i am also Head Coach of the Doncaster Danum Eagles Basketball Club, During this time i have achieved 2 National Titles at Durham and 6 National Titles at Danum.

I also run a number of successful Basketball Camps with an emphasis on shooting. as well as being employed on other camps across the UK and United States.
